Hi everyone we are a rather lovely family of 3 (myself and partner and our 15 month old daughter) who are looking for temporary accommodation from mid November - Christmas and maybe even a few weeks in the new year whilst our house is being renovated. We need to stay in Camberwell/Peckham/East Dulwich for my daughter's nursery. Please get in touch if you have a place that would suit us. Happy with 1 or 2 bedroom. Would also consider a shorter amount of time if its not available for the whole period. Thanks

Hi. Would you consider a very big studio flat? It's in Colwell Rd( opposite former ed police station).

It will become vacant for about 3 months from 12 November.

If you think you might be interested and want to arrange a viewing or ask any other info contact me on 07506006886.

I can also send you some pics via e-mail or whatsapp. Pics size is too big to be uploaded here.

Hope to hear from you.

Stella

Hi,

Not quite the location you want, but I've just posted a new thread in this forum that we're looking for short term tenants for our house in Forest Hill/Sydenham from mid-November. We ideally want 4-6 month period, but let me know if you might be interested and we could discuss.

Thanks,

Vicki

    • We were hoping to have a meal at Monkatsu  last night (Sunday), after having been out all day. Online information gave the closing time as 10pm. We got there around 8.30pm and they wouldn't give us a table because "the kitchen closes in half an hour." Surely it doesn't take half an hour to make a meal? We've never had to wait that long when we've eaten there before. Has anybody else had this happen? We ended up going home and getting a delivery, which wasn't how we had envisaged the end of a nice day 🙄
    • That place did only have pizzas on the menu, to the best of my recollection. We ate there once, the pizzas were ok but the room was not exactly atmospheric. Il Mirto has  a lot of pasta dishes on the menu,  but that also never seems busy. It's small and out of the way,  and easily forgotten if you're looking for somewhere to eat, I suppose.
