I was given this as a baby shower gift but our twins arrived 6 weeks early so I sadly didn't have a chance to use it. It's brand new and the contents are untouched. ?29.99 new (plus ?2.50 delivery). ?15 ono, collection from SE22 near picturehouse.

Full info from Everlasting Castings: http://www.everlastingcastings.co.uk/DBCK.html

Our Deluxe kit contains ten hand packaged items including splash-proof instructions, plaster bandage (enough for even twins!), Vaseline, plastic sheeting, legs & knickers protector, two pairs of gloves in two sizes, apron, picture hook & silver ribbon. It comes in a strong, re-cycled plastic box great for use afterwards as a baby keepsake box.

Optionally add a Belly Cast Decorating Pack to smooth, paint and hang your belly cast. choose from Classic Smooth White, Pearl White, Metallic Bronze, Silver or Gold or Baby Footprints Clay where you add clay hand or foot impressions to your cast when the baby is born.

What is a belly cast?

Belly Casting is a safe, simple process which involves laying wet plaster bandage (widely used in hospitals) over the pregnant torso at around 37 weeks.

This quickly hardens to create a perfect replica of the pregnant form. With one willing helper, you can create your work of art with the minimum of mess or fuss. Our kits include detailed, easy-to-follow instructions with diagrams and photographs to guide you through each stage of the process - from preparation, to creating your masterpiece and clearing up afterwards.

Your Belly Cast can be left exactly as it is or strengthened, smoothed, painted or decorated - whatever takes your fancy. You can even have it made into a glass sculpture, fruit bowl or lamp. Take a look at our Belly Casting Gallery for inspiration. Whatever you decide, you'll be amazed at the results!

    • Cars are getting bigger and heavier. Speed enforcement is pretty rare. Hopefully we'll see regulation to stop the car bloat arms race, and perhaps moves to use the same geolocation speed limiters deemed essential for electric hire scooters, but not currently SUVs
    • Another recommendation for Half Moon- my youngest daughter attended and it was by far the best nursery we’ve ever experienced. The teachers are just wonderful and they care so much for the children (who, in return, love them to bits). There’s also a very low staff turnover, so there’s real stability and continuity for the children. My daughter left each day so happy and proud to show me what she’d learnt. It’s amazing!
    • Did you take the car number? Otherwise the council wil have to look through it for an address.
    • Well if you did get anywhere please let me know... we have speed cushions outside our property in Honor Oak Road, my house has been being shaken along with the accompanying noise since 2008.. the council  just keeps telling me it not the speed cushions and we are too far away from them.
