Ofsted registered Nanny looking for part time role.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I?m Jessica I?m 22 and have been a nanny for over 4 years.

I have experience with a range of ages, from newborn to 8 years old, and different family dynamics. I have cared for multiple children, including siblings and twin girls with autism, sole care, and I have been around for the arrival of a new sibling being born!

Until quite recently, I was a student at Birkbeck University studying psychology. I have completed 2 years of full time study, however for a number of reasons I have decided to take a break in studies, mainly that I have enjoyed my work in childcare so much that I am now considering pursuing a career in childcare instead. Therefore, as I am no longer studying, I am looking to increase my working hours. I am currently a nanny to a 21 month old girl, who I?ve been with since she was 5 months old, who will have a younger sister arriving in May. I look after her for 2 days a week, Mon/Weds but that could possibly be changed and as such am looking for 2 days a week. I am looking for around 20!hours per week, either two full day or split between a couple of days.

I am a reliable, trustworthy, patient, calm, friendly nanny who enjoys working with children, supporting their development and helping them explore the world as they grow. I love to get out and about to playgroups, soft play centre, libraries, farms, music sessions, museums etc, and also enjoy meeting up with other nannies for day trips and play dates. I am also ofsted registered (can accept childcare vouchers) and have uptodate full DBS check, paediatric first aid certificate, insurance and have completed the ofsted Carinh for Children In their own Home course.

Please message me if you think I may be a good candidate and I can send you my CV and references, and also discuss further, either on here or via email if that?s easier.

Thank you,

Jessica.

Hi there!

We are looking for a lovely nanny for our 17 month old daughter, Greta, from 8.30am-7.30pm on a Tuesday and 6pm-approx 9/10pm on a Wednesday evening (we may need extra hours ad hoc but that would of course depend on your availability). Might this be of interest for you?

Thanks so much,

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Ty

Hi there,

I am looking for a part time nanny for my 6 week old son. I will be working from home and occasionally will be in the city in meetings. Looking for someone who can care for him while I am working. We have a housekeeper so no cleaning or washing is necessary.

I can be flexible on the days I need someone. We live opposite Sydenham hill station on college road

Looking forward to hearing from you

    • Hmmm, millions of animals are killed each year to eat in this country.  10,000 animals (maybe many more) reared to be eaten by exotic pets, dissected by students, experimented on by cosmetic and medical companies.  Why is this any different? Unless you have a vegan lifestyle most of us aren't in a position to judge.  I've not eaten meat for years, try not to buy leather and other animal products as much as possible but don't read every label, and have to live with the fact that for every female chick bred to (unaturally) lay eggs for me to eat, there will be male that is likely top be slaughtered, ditto for the cow/milk machines - again unnatural. I wasn't aware that there was this sort of market, but there must be a demand for it and doubt if it is breaking any sort of law. Happy to be proved wrong on anything and everything.
    • I don't know how spoillable food can be used as evidence in whatever imaginary CSI scenario you are imagining.  And yes, three times. One purchase was me, others were my partner. We don't check in with each other before buying meat. Twice we wrote it off as incidental. But now at three times it seems like a trend.   So the shop will be hearing from me. Though they won't ever see me again that's for sure.  I'd be happy to field any other questions you may have Sue. Your opinion really matters to me.
    • If you thought they were off, would it not have been a good idea to have kept them rather than throwing them away, as evidence for Environmental Health or whoever? Or indeed the shop? And do you mean this is the third time you have bought chicken from the same shop which has been off? Have you told the shop? Why did you buy it again if you have twice previously had chicken from there which was off? Have I misunderstood?
    • I found this post after we just had to throw away £14 of chicken thighs from Dugard in HH, and probably for the 3rd time. They were roasted thoroughly within an hour of purchase. But they came out of the oven smelling very woofy.  We couldn't take a single bite, they were clearly off. Pizza for dinner it is then. Very disappointing.
