Abebooks.co.uk can be very good for finding used books (and nectar points available if you go through the Nectar website - if you collect them, of course).

You can buy secondhand books via Amazon, often very cheaply. I've done it several times lately.

If you do a search on the titles, sellers of the secondhand books should come up as well as the new ones Amazon sell themselves.

Depending on the book though, it may not be much more expensive (or may even be cheaper) to buy a new paperback, once you take into account the postage.
