The Sculpture Playhouse
Saturday 5th + Sunday 6th October 11 am - 6 pm
The Bussey Building, 133 Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15 4ST - Entrance directly opposite Blenheim Grove
(With Cafe)

Families are invited to join the fun at the Sculpture Playhouse. Kids aged 5-10 and their parents and guardians will create sculptural projects that are easy to make and a feast for the senses. Create 3D works and solve creative problems together through this semi-structured workshop as it unfolds in a dedicated space equipped will unusual materials and supplies. This is a drop-in session and repeat visits are welcome.

We will also be running a café in the same space. Take a break from touring the Artlicks Weekend and pop in for a tea or coffee. Join in with one of our events while your children experiment with sculpture at The Sculpture Playhouse.

The Sculpture Playhouse will be led by David Barnett from see ‘n’ make (http://www.seenmake.com)
. See 'n' make is an artist led organisation providing residencies and workshops for schools, children's centres, gallery spaces, public and community venues. The organisations they have worked with include Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest primary schools, Eastbury Manor House and Sutton House (National Trust Heritage Sites), The Lightbox gallery space, Woking, and The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Libraries Service.

About Pangaea Sculptors' Centre
PSC is a new London based arts organisation focused on providing resources and support to sculptors and others art workers engaged in three dimensional art practice. Central to our ethos is that artists should be able to further their practice without the constraint caused by a lack of access to equipment and facilities.

PSC aims to be a central hub for sculptors within London for the exchange of ideas and practical support and seeks to promote the critical appreciation of this field more broadly.

Programme: Pangaea Sculptors' Centre is heading to Peckham for the Artlicks Weekend and running a series of FREE artists workshops.

See pangaeasculptorscentre.com for the full schedule of events.
