toomuchchocolate
My son has decided he'd like to have a two- wheel scooter (since we;re finally upgrading from the mini micro!)I refuse to pay ?85+ for a Maxi Micro Scooter purely because of the brand. Can anyone recommend any of the other cheaper brand two-wheel scooters?I'm looking at The Razor Spark Kick Scooter, currently ?36 on Amazon, but I also like the look of the Oxelo Mid 5 Scooter from Decathlon, which has front wheel suspension, although it's ?50.Does anyone have experience of either brands, or other brands that you would recommend as being sturdy, long lasting, etc. He'd also quite like to start doing stunts on it!All advice much appreciated. Thanks
snowboarder
If he wants to do stunts don't get one of the ones that folds - they are not sturdy enough. My boys (5 and 7) have grit scooters but they were both ?100 ish.
doctornicky
We got the razor spark scooter for my son a year ago when he was 9 and he absolutely loves it. It's fairly light weight but not flimsy and has survived several unfortunate crashes. Apart from the sparks ( which are quite impressive) it probably isn't the best for if you want to do skateboard style stunts/ jumps but for my 9 year old it's all about speed and this certainly does the job and I think is excellent value.
