Inexpensive clothing alteration?

Anyone know of the cheapest place for clothing alterations? I have 4 skirts that need taking up. I usually use the one on Forest Hill Rd near Co-op but it's quite pricey. I would lie a place that offers bulk alterations! Ami better off heading to Peckham rye?

  Well if you did get anywhere please let me know... we have speed cushions outside our property in Honor Oak Road, my house has been being shaken along with the accompanying noise since 2008.. the council just keeps telling me it not the speed cushions and we are too far away from them.
