Sewing machine skills for absolute beginners: Learn how to get the most out of a sewing machine. The course will cover how to set up a machine, check the tension and how to use the controls.You will sample sewing processes including sewing straight lines, how to sew different types of seam, seam finishes, making gathers and turning hems.

Small items will be made so it's not just about sampling.
