Recommended Posts

Greenwich to Trinity Buoy Wharf. July 16th, 9.30am - 1pm.

Starts and finishes at the Cutty Sark, next to the Foot Tunnel entrance, SE10 9HT. This easy-paced long morning ride, will start from Greenwich and head across the river, exploring eastwards.

The route goes diagonally across the Isle of Dogs, through the Limehouse Cut and Three Mills, along the Greenway, with time permitting a skinny Damian Hirst sculpture to see on the way. Then Blue Bridge to Trinity Buoy Wharf (http://www.trinitybuoywharf.com/).

Back skirting Aspen Way, East India Dock, a bit of CS3, the hard-to-spot Blackwall underpass, and Canary Wharf with an optional loop past a still trainfree station, and hugging the eastern bank of the island.

If anyone wants to start from Canada Water station near the new library, you can meet there at 9am but if you plan to do this please let Bruce know on 07729 279 945. If he doesn't know you're there he may not come and pick you up.

Under 16s are welcome with a responsible adult. The ride ends at 1pm back where it started. Free, friendly, everyone welcome.
