We are back on Sunday 16th October with a Glow-in-the dark Little Disco in East Dulwich.


A fun daytime disco for families with under 9s, at our residency: the East Dulwich Tavern in East Dulwich. Go crazy swirling and twirling your little ones around the dance floor and show them how you get down to the latest tunes and those retro disco classics that you love to dance to. This time it will be a Glow-in-the-dark disco, with UV lights and FREE face painting for the children too. So dig out your Neon clothes or accessories (or white will also work very well) and join us for this fun afternoon on the dance floor.


Our lively DJ will get you bopping away, playing dance floor fillers and kids' favourites and there will be other boredom busting activities such as bubbles, games and competitions, prizes, air guitars, indoor fireworks and a free disco accessory for every child. There will even be snow! There are child friendly drinks and snacks available to buy to complete this fun packed afternoon.


Why not invite some friends along in our boogie-wonderland?

If you're a bit rusty and need a little warm-up before you really show the kids how it's done then the bar will provide you with a little help. Have a drink and socialise with the other big kids while you watch the little kids go crazy on the dancefloor from a safe distance.


Facilities include a quiet corner with tunnels and tents for a little time out, nappy changing facilities, a buggy park and a baby cosy corner in the disco itself. Doors (and bar!) open 15 minutes prior to advertised start time.

The disco at the EDT is upstairs, please look for our logo when you arrive. Please be aware there are two flights of stairs, we can help you with buggies if needed. If you can leave your buggy in the car or at home, even better.

Parking is free in neighbouring streets. There are many buses that serve Lordship Lane and the nearest train station is East Dulwich (overground). Don't forget to check out all the details on our website.

      Recommendation for Phil – FourPawsDoors – Cat Flap Fitter

      I highly recommend Phil at Four Paws doors for fitting a pet door. He has recently fitted a new microchip door for me in a very awkward tight spot. He came up with a solution for the problem of how to fit it within the space and supplied the appropriate flap as well as fitting it. The work was done within a couple of days of my initial enquiry.       Cars are getting bigger and heavier (new cars have become so bloated that half of them are too wide to fit in parking spaces designed to the minimum on-street standards. The average width of a new car in the EU and UK passed 180cm in the first half of 2023, having grown an average of 0.5cm each year since 2001). Speed enforcement is also pretty rare in practice and according to DfT stats, under free-flowing traffic conditions, 50% of car drivers exceed the speed limit on 30mph roads. Hopefully we'll see regulation to stop the car bloat arms race, and perhaps moves to use the same geolocation speed limiters deemed essential for electric hire scooters, but not currently SUVs. Would certainly be more effective and cause less noise, pollution and damage than speed bumps. Also the cost gets passed to the manufactures, rather than public authorities.

      Another recommendation for Half Moon- my youngest daughter attended and it was by far the best nursery we’ve ever experienced. The teachers are just wonderful and they care so much for the children (who, in return, love them to bits). There’s also a very low staff turnover, so there’s real stability and continuity for the children. My daughter left each day so happy and proud to show me what she’d learnt. It’s amazing!
