Next Thursday 18th May best selling and award winning author Maggie O'Farrell comes in Dulwich to talk about her books and writing. Including Instructions for a Heatwave (shortlisted for the 2013 Costa Novel Award) and her most recent smash, This Must Be the Place ? a dazzling, intimate epic about who we leave behind and who we become as we search for our place in the world.

This event is taking place in Alleyns School on Townley Road.

Maggie will be in conversation with Hannah Beckerman to discuss what makes her write, how she comes up with ideas that become bestsellers and how year after year she writes wonderful stories, that are not only bestsellers but win prizes.

  Another recommendation for Half Moon- my youngest daughter attended and it was by far the best nursery we’ve ever experienced. The teachers are just wonderful and they care so much for the children (who, in return, love them to bits). There’s also a very low staff turnover, so there’s real stability and continuity for the children. My daughter left each day so happy and proud to show me what she’d learnt. It’s amazing!

  Well if you did get anywhere please let me know... we have speed cushions outside our property in Honor Oak Road, my house has been being shaken along with the accompanying noise since 2008.. the council just keeps telling me it not the speed cushions and we are too far away from them.
