Dr Bike and his bike nurses will be under Peckham Arch from 5.30-7.30pm. He will be welcoming all comers with his vast bike-related knowledge, love of hard-work and his team of helpers, meeters and greeters. He will be under Peckham Arch from 5.30-7.30pm on Thursday(September 21st). The Arch is the big arch-shaped structure at the north end of Rye Lane (one end is propped up on the Kentish Drovers).

The team tighten brakes, index gears and mend tyres as a matter of course. Rumour has it that they might have a few spare parts (like brake cables) (maybe). For anything much bigger they offer wise advice which is helpful if you need to head off and pay a bike mechanic.

We are Southwark Cyclists, the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. Everything we do is free -- there are no residence requirements and everyone is welcome. Any queries or if you get lost, text me on 07842 640 207. You can call me Sally because that's my name. https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/dr-bike-under-peckham-arch-2/

    • Emissions from motor vehicles, in particular diesels and even more so pre-2016 for cars, are the main source of roadside nitrogen dioxide.  Therefore you have two choices, cleaner motor vehicles or less motor vehicle journeys.  Drivers and owners are the main cause.  Clean Air Dulwich are championing less car use.
    • I think I just lost my mens link bracelet while walking from East Dulwich station along Grove Vale towards Lordship Lane would have been around 1pm It’s of significant sentimental value so if anyone has found it, I would appreciate them getting in touch Thank you John
    • Weirdly to some a lot of those who travel down on the overground are seeking that vibe.
    • It’s a positive attribute, especially when faced with the very punter-unfriendly absence of interest and input from the council re the locale. Good on them, but their profits could be bigger if the area they find themselves in were improved.
