    DAY

    10 December 2023

Come and celebrate with us in the spectacular Rivoli Ballroom for a festive extravaganza marking a decade of radical community music-making in South-East London.
Founded in 2013 by multi-hyphenate Hannah Catherine Jones, PCO has endured the test of time and evolved into perhaps the only democratic orchestra in the UK (or even the world...)!
PCO has provided 3 free concerts per year in South East London since 2013. For this special occasion we have some free tickets, some at £5 and some at £10 depending on what you can afford across two concerts, a matinee and an evening concert.
    GET YOUR TICKETS HERE!

Carve and cast your own jewellery in raw golden brass, gold or silver with creators of the iconic body amulet, Musée Roo.
In this 3-hour workshop you'll learn about the ancient art of wax-casting for jewellery, and discover how to work with wax. You'll sculpt a nude body pendant, which you can wear and keep forever.
We will visit the Rubens & Women exhibition to find inspiration in Ruben's depictions of the female body, and then we'll get our hands on some wax to create some soft little nudes in miniature. These sculptures will be cast into raw golden brass, and you'll be able to upgrade your metal on the day - Fairmined gold plating, recycled sterling silver, and 9ct gold options are available.
Your ticket includes access to the Rubens exhibit, a wax-carving class with Roo, and of course, your finished piece of jewellery - which will be cast and then polished for you. A glass of wine, soft fizz and snacks will be provided - as essential as our tools!
You'll be able to collect your jewel from the Gallery 3 weeks after the workshop (in time for Christmas!) or you can receive it in the post for an additional £6.
