🎄 Christmas Wreath workshops 🎄
with London School of Horticulture
Saturday 25th November (3-6pm) - Telegraph Hill
Thursday 30th November (6-9pm) - Herne Hill
Saturday 2nd December (2-5pm) - Herne Hill
A seasonal workshop to end the term with! Build your very own bespoke, natural Christmas wreath using seasonal foliage and berries including some from your own garden if you wish.
In a relaxed beginner friendly environment (with tea and festive snacks!) you will work alongside our experienced guest tutor Anya to learn the key skills involved in selecting the best natural foliage and how to arrange it into a beautiful long-lasting wreath. All materials will be provided, including an array of fresh foliage, dried fruits and berries and ribbons.
We'll bring all the rings, wires, padding and any other materials, all you need to bring is any extra foliage you might want to incorporate into your wreath plus gardening gloves and a pair of secateurs if you have them.
You will leave with your own beautiful wreath to hang on your door which will last you well into the New Year.
Cost: £50 (workshop including drinks & festive snacks) plus £15 (materials, foliage & decorations) - total £65

Local artist Joe Thomas will be sketching his super popular fast portraits outside the Jane Newbery gallery in Dulwich Village on Saturday and Sunday.
Taking 5-10 minutes, Joe’s colourful and dynamic portraits cost from £25, make superb gifts and are great for families and couples.
Fascinating to watch, sittings are done on a first-come-first-drawn basis.

This sewing workshop is aimed at adults who want to learn to sew and learn to use their sewing machine confidently. This is an introductory workshop, perfect for beginners. Participants will learn how to thread the machine, change needles and sewing feet, understand the various parts of the sewing machine and demystify how a machine operates. You will also learn how to look after your machine. As a bonus, you will learn to sew a pencil case. All fabrics needed to practise and make the pencil case are provided. Basic sewing tools will be available to share & use. The workshops are all designed equip you with all the necessary skills and help you tackle your sewing projects.
