    I shall be taking part in the Artists' Open House, Dulwich Festival again this year on the weekends of May 13-14 and 20-21st, (11am - 6pm ) showing new mixed media paintings and prints from my studio in a converted Victorian school just off Northcross Road.

    South London Makerspace is excited to once again bring you South London Maker Festival
    A not-for-profit community Maker Festival in Herne Hill with something for all ages - Entrance and most activities are £FREE 
    Saturday 13th May 12 to 5pm 
    This year we'll be across two venues:  Station Hall * and South London Makerspace 
    *Please note that this venue is up several flights of stairs, with no lift or wheelchair access

    Learn to Propagate Garden Plants - the most cost-effective way to a beautiful garden!
    with the London School of Horticulture
    Saturday 13th May 2023 (2-5pm)
    Rosendale Allotments Community Building, 227 Rosendale Rd, SE21 8LP
    By growing from seed, taking cuttings and dividing existing plants you can create a garden at a fraction of the cost of buying at a garden centre. Our practical propagation workshop for beginners led by our expert Chris Qual will show you the tips, tricks and techniques required to fill your garden with colour and fragrance through the year.

    You will be provided with seeds and cuttings which you will be able to sow or plant in class and take home with you to put in your garden or containers.

    Workshop held on Saturday afternoon in our Rosendale Allotments classroom.
    Bring gloves and a strong shopping bag to take your pots home with you.

    A fantastic night of Jazz, Jive and Swing with London’s hottest 17-piece big band, King Groovy & the Horn Stars. Join in the dance class at 7.30pm, led by Simon Selmon of SwingdanceUK; everyone is welcome, no experience needed. Afterwards you can strut your stuff to the band’s toe-tapping blend of hits from Basie to Sinatra – the joint will be jumping! Dress code (optional): 1950s.
    Formed in 2005 in Herne Hill, King Groovy & the Horn Stars have performed at many top London venues including the 100 Club, the Southbank Centre, Wilton’s Music Hall, the Hippodrome and the Rivoli Ballroom. The band are delighted to be playing at the Dulwich Festival in collaboration with swing dance supremo Simon Selmon, who has taught internationally and performed on stage, film and TV, including the BBC’s Strictly.
