This event began 20/05/23 and repeats every day until 21/05/23

Come and get your kids / families / couples portraits drawn by local artist Joe Thomas.
Sittings are drop-in and will last from 5-7 minutes at 41 Dulwich Village (the old Biff shoe shop - RIP).
It's a brilliantly fun experience, in which you'll not only witness how you / your kids CAN be still and you'll get something cool to hang on your walls.
    A. couple of examples from last weekend's sittings - https://www.instagram.com/jthmsart/ where you'll also be able to message me to reserve a slot (but its mostly drop-ins and a short wait!)
There are 4 other awesome artists and makers selling their work, so call by and pick something up, or just watch the process in action.
I'll be mostly working in chalk & pen on heavyweight black art paper.
    £25 for a solo
    £30 for couples / pairs
£35 for families (3 or more sitters at once)

    Low-Maintenance Fruit & Vegetable Growing
with the London School of Horticulture
    Saturday 20th May 2023 (2-5pm)
Rosendale Allotments Community Building, 227 Rosendale Rd, SE21 8LP
Wherever you are growing your fruit and vegetables, whether that's in your garden or vegetable plot, or in containers on your balcony, there's always a lot to do for the the urban food grower.

This practical workshop will start by looking at some general food-growing basics with an emphasis on 'low-maintenance' food growing.  Students will then be taken through some seasonal practical tasks.  We'll also look at how to compost and make your own growing mediums, and at how to use renewable, recyclable resources and organic practices.  If weather and time allow there will also be a tour of a low-maintenance allotment plot and we'll discuss some of the traditional and less-traditional methods people use when growing fruit and vegetables.
We'll be doing lots of practical tasks ... bring gloves and a strong shopping bag to take your pots home with you!
Cost: £45.  Click here to go to booking page
