Our Shows act as a showcase for between 80-100 up and coming artists and designers working with ceramics and takes place across our Bellenden Rd and Copeland Park studios. It’s a great opportunity to see a range of handmade work, meet the makers and see the studios where the work itself was made. All work on display is for sale and in buying work you’re helping support the maker’s ongoing practice. Check out a few of our makers on our Members Page or on Instagram.
Some of the proceeds from the Summer Show will go to FiredUp4, helping to bring ceramics facilities and education to young people who need it most. So not only will you be supporting local makers, you’ll also be helping introduce clay to young people who might not have otherwise had the chance. Previously we have given members the option of ‘opting-in’ to donate a further 5% of their takings, which The Kiln Rooms have then matched. This year however we are aware that every penny counts, so instead of asking members to contribute any more from their sales we will instead donate one third of The Kiln Rooms commission to FiredUp4, which works out as 5% of all Sales. For those of you who may like to donate a little more we’ll provide the simple steps to do this online.

We welcome everybody to our Singarounds, to sing or to listen! Accompanied or unaccompanied, solo or duo or more, any genre! However we don't use the stage and we don't use mics. First come first to sing, just sign up any time during the evening at the list on the ticket table. Door 7pm, singing starts 7.15pm prompt, £5 on the door.
