An exotic garden full of the exuberance of late summer, inspired by travel in Southeast Asia. A lush and naturalistic jungle of big leafed plants, bold colours and shapes.
Huge ‘hidden’ garden, created in 2010 from buying derelict land which had been the bottom halves of two neighbour’s gardens gives the garden an unexpected size. Three ponds, a productive area and contemporary sunken terrace full of pampered prized plants.
We deliver on the ‘wow’ factor with visitors being surprised by the scale of the garden and getting lost in the exotica. A jewel in the crown of the National Gardens scheme.
The lower lawn has lots of seating (30+) and hidden corners give space to sit and enjoy. Renowned for the plant sale, teas and home-made cakes.
Featured on BBC Gardeners World, Gardeners World Magazine, Garden News, Independent and Simple Things Magazine.
Live music!the Secret Life Sax quartet will play in the afternoon at 2 and 3pm

Club Debris play Quebecois music  which is a wonderful melange of northern French, American and Irish/Scottish influences.   Because they are a phenomenal dance band, before the evening they are holding a percussive dance workshop at 4.30 led by their dancer the amazing Jessie Collins. The workshop lasts an hour and costs £10 but you can get joint entry to the evening gig for £22

Going to a Club Debris gig has been described as "the most fun you can ever have in a folk club" and this is your chance to find out why!  This gig follows their percussive dance workshop at 4.30.
Not surprisingly when Club Debris played here before they packed us out. Basically they play Quebecois music which is (mostly) dance music from northern France transported to Canada and modified by American and Irish/Scottish influences.
The band were got together by fiddle player Maisie Greenwood, who fell in love with Quebecois music after visiting Montreal. The band also include fiddle/accordion player Will Allen of Brown Boots fame, Duncan Menzies who has also played at Dulwich with Copper Viper and the Clementine Lovell Trio, keyboard player Will Chamberlain  with Jess Collins on percussive dance .
This is genuinely thrilling music ; you'll usually find them in much bigger venues or at festivals so we are really lucky to have them .Get here early!
Entrance to the gig is £15 ; you can get joint entrance to the dance workshop and the gig for £22.
