Organised by a group of queer folk obsessive friends and employees of the HobGoblin Music shop in Central London, and firmly rooted in the traditional music of the British Isles, they draw widely on many other musical genres and cultures, including medieval and early music, as well as the folk musical traditions from abroad.
Interpreting folk songs in relation to past and present political upheavals, they use a diverse range of instruments including flutes, horns, strings, squeezeboxes, bells and whistles - and the hurdy gurdy!
