A spacious unfurnished one bedroom flat on ground floor of Victorian conversion near Goose Green and Peckham Rye Common. The flat has been recently refurbished and has a front garden and an off-road car parking space.

It's an amazing location on a leafy street off the main road but walking distance for both East Dulwich and Peckham Rye stations. It's also convenient for buses to Denmark Hill, Herne Hill and Brixton stations (that last for the night tube), plus bus routes into town (78, 63, 12, 176...).

The bedroom is a great size. It has extensive fitted wardrobes and easily fits a king size bed plus other furniture. It's attractive with large double glazed bay window fitted with wooden shutters.

The living room is large and has fitted book shelves and another large double glazed bay window. The hallway has large storage cupboard.

The recently installed hi-spec bathroom includes stylish Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware and fantastic rain shower over bath.

The kitchen is a separate room through a door from the living room. It is on the small side but has a recently installed oven with gas hobs, a Siemens fridge/ freezer and a Hotpoint washer dryer.

I loved living here and hope someone new will too! Looking for long-term tenant(s).

Rent ?1400pcm

Deposit ?1550 to be held in tenancy deposit scheme of course.

    • Please understand that I am not doubting the word of anyone who has posted here with problems with bought-in prepared meat, but (I am old) uncooked meat (perfectly 'good' meat) does smell often, we are too used to shrink wrapped and chilled supermarket meat which can be almost scent free - so we are surprised when 'butcher's' meat does smell (and often, if it is uncooked, quite strongly). Indeed game which is high can smell quite strongly, and not in a good way to our 21st C sensibilities, without being off - as in food poisoning off. Certainly prepared meat, when cooked, should smell enticing, and not at all bad - so the experiences quoted above are certainly very worrying - but younger people reading this should not be concerned, particularly, if fresh (raw) meat they have bought from e.g. a proper butchers has a smell to it. Which is not to say that something which smells rank shouldn't be a point of complaint. Even the smell of high-ish game, if left unwrapped, should dissipate once unwrapped. If it increases however it may be  cause for concern. But raw beef or lamb in the joint can often smell of something which isn't necessarily particularly nice, without it being worrying. It will tend to cook with more flavour.
