French tutor (for GCSE, A-level and others)

Recommended Posts

Bonjour everyone!

I'm Pauline, a French native speaker with 6 years of experience teaching French to students from Y5 to Y13 in a school in South East London. I'm offering private tuition in French to help for GCSE and A-level exams (AQA, Edexcel?), or if you just want to start learning the language (any age welcome to contact me).

I'm a very patient, encouraging and positive tutor.

Unfortunately, I only offer online sessions at the moment due to the pandemic situation.

DBS checked.

?40/hour: online session (one-to-one)

Possibility to do group sessions.

If you have any question, feel free to contact me here or via my email address: [email protected]

Hope to hearing from you soon!

Merci,

Pauline

HI Pauline

I am looking for a french tutor for my daughter who is in year 10 in preparation for her GCSEs. Do you have availability and if so could we do a trial lesson? Ideally this is done face to face. Do you come to people's houses or would we need to come to you?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Liz

Dear Liz,

Deepest apologies for the delay of my answer, the notification email from this forum went to my junk email box and it's only by chance that I saw it today.

Are you still looking for a tutor for your daughter?

I usually come to people's houses and I'm available next week if you wish to do a trial lesson.

I'm definitely able to help for her GCSEs. May I ask if she's studying with AQA or Edexcel?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Pauline

    • We had one that projected stars and played lullabies. It was a soft toy bee with a hard plastic back. I know we used it but can’t recall how effective it was.  What was brilliant was the Lulla sleep doll which has a heart beat sound. That was a critical sleep aid for the first couple of years.
    • Hmmm, millions of animals are killed each year to eat in this country.  10,000 animals (maybe many more) reared to be eaten by exotic pets, dissected by students, experimented on by cosmetic and medical companies.  Why is this any different? Unless you have a vegan lifestyle most of us aren't in a position to judge.  I've not eaten meat for years, try not to buy leather and other animal products as much as possible but don't read every label, and have to live with the fact that for every female chick bred to (unaturally) lay eggs for me to eat, there will be male that is likely top be slaughtered, ditto for the cow/milk machines - again unnatural. I wasn't aware that there was this sort of market, but there must be a demand for it and doubt if it is breaking any sort of law. Happy to be proved wrong on anything and everything.
