Tom Gibson, (07710 779819) he does general building but is a specialised carpenter.

The attached images are testament to what he can build. This is recently completed project in London.

He is looking for full renovation, Kitchens and extension work. I highly recommend him.

London born and bread, based in Bermondsey. If you call him, mention the EDF and if he does not answer send him a text, he will get back to you.

Another recommendation for Tom, who recently built and fitted some media cabinets/shelves for us. He also built and fitted some new wardrobe doors for some existing in-built wardrobes. Very happy with the results.

Tom built some alcove cupboards in our living room recently. We are really pleased with them - sockets were built into the cupboards too with shelves above. He also did some general carpentry - skirting/dado which needed fixing and I was particularly thrilled to come home and find our front door was no longer sticking on opening it. Wouldn?t hesitate to recommend him and will definitely be asking him back for further joinery work.

Another recommendation for Tom. He built a custom MDF fridge cabinet, kitchen cabinet doors, a clever bathtub panel, and a beauty of an alcove unit. He thought of things and did them before I even knew I needed them. Could not know his stuff better and thinks through every detail. On time, efficient, and makes sure things are built in keeping with your existing aesthetic with high quality materials to a high standard. Besides this he is a lovely person and does it all with smile. I already have a list started for things he will be able to do in future. I'll upload photos soon!

Just wanted to re-recommend Tom Gibson.

He has just completed my kitchen in my new house, it is exactly how I wanted it, we took some of the internal garage and made the downstairs living/kitchen much bigger.

Images attached.

    • Please understand that I am not doubting the word of anyone who has posted here with problems with bought-in prepared meat, but (I am old) uncooked meat (perfectly 'good' meat) does smell often, we are too used to shrink wrapped and chilled supermarket meat which can be almost scent free - so we are surprised when 'butcher's' meat does smell (and often, if it is uncooked, quite strongly). Indeed game which is high can smell quite strongly, and not in a good way to our 21st C sensibilities, without being off - as in food poisoning off. Certainly prepared meat, when cooked, should smell enticing, and not at all bad - so the experiences quoted above are certainly very worrying - but younger people reading this should not be concerned, particularly, if fresh (raw) meat they have bought from e.g. a proper butchers has a smell to it. Which is not to say that something which smells rank shouldn't be a point of complaint. Even the smell of high-ish game, if left unwrapped, should dissipate once unwrapped. If it increases however it may be  cause for concern. But raw beef or lamb in the joint can often smell of something which isn't necessarily particularly nice, without it being worrying. It will tend to cook with more flavour.
