messageAntibody test in ED
Posted by xavi August 03, 10:34AM

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a private antibody test done in ED? I think I had CV-19 back in March and want to get the antibody test to find out. You can get the home test kits but they are apparently less reliable. If anyone has seen anywhere offering them (for a fee), please let me know. Thanks

I believe GP surgeries offer them if you pay

For mild conditions some people's antibodies don't last long so don't be surprised if your test comes back negative

Yes, I know three symptomatic couples where one partner was positive and one negative. The nurse who took the blood said this as there case at the hospital he worked at too.
