We've got a lovely new Dr Bike banner and we will be showing it off under Peckham Arch (see pic) from 5.30-7.30pm on Thursday September 12th. Doing the work will be our professional mechanic Charlie (on the left) and our leader Andy (on the right) plus assorted volunteers (I'm not naming them because I'm not clear who they are right now). They will be fixing brakes, indexing gears and giving good advice on wheels ("that one's square") and chains ("too dirty.......needs cleaning". This isn't an alternative to having your bike serviced but if you are planning an autumn service it will help you sort out the shops which are giving good advice and the ones which may not have your best interests at heart.
