warning about private messages

There seems to be a problem as I have not received mine in the past few days, so if you are communicating on this forum, its best to move to a different method of " dealings " if you can as soon as you can.

I've noticed this too. My inbox isn't full and all permissions turned of - just not receiving notifications.

Also noticed that a few DMs I've sent are "unread".

Be good to know what's going on!

I think there might be an email sending problem on the server, I'll try and take a look under the bonnet this weekend.

Not getting notifications for new pm or new post in followed thread by email and mixed results on sending pms.

Are the messages definitely not arriving in in-boxes either, and with the accompanying top-of-pages notification, if you're logged in, "You have new private messages"?

I found a couple of pms yesterday by chance (one sent earlier in month, one yesterday) - no email notification or top-of-page notification for either. No email notification if followed thread added to (as OP). Have sent two pms yesterday - one shows received, the other no (may/may not be accurate).
