    Job Title: Production Assistant (Coffee Roastery)

    Location: Loughborough Junction

    Contract Type: Temporary (30 hours/week) - 6 hours per day 

    Contract Dates: Monday 3rd November – Friday 11th December

    Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10.00 AM – 4:00 PM 

     


     

    Overview:

     

    We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Assistant to support our operations during a busy seasonal period. This is a manual labour role based in our roastery and packing facility, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable with physical tasks, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

    Any successful candidates will be asked to do a trial shift (1 hour)  on Friday 31st October. 

     


     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Weighing and bagging freshly roasted coffee

    • Packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

    • Labelling and sealing coffee products

    • Heavy lifting (e.g., moving sacks of green coffee up to 70kg)

    • Keeping production and packing areas clean and organised

    • Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as needed

    • Following health & safety and food hygiene protocols

     


     

    Requirements:

     

    • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and standing for long periods

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes

    • Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently as well as in a team

    • Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is a plus but not essential

    • Right to work in the UK

     


     

    Details:

     

    • Rate of Pay: £13.85

    • Start Date: Monday 3rd November

    • End Date: Friday 11th December

    • Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
