scrambles replied to mattcowie's topic in What's on in East Dulwich
Matt Any update on after school sessions? Thanks -
I just wanted to recommend Janine and this one day hypnobirthing course....Janine is so positive, enthusiastic and has such an energy and passion to try and enable all mums to have a positive birth experience. Her energy and enthusiasm spreads and you cannot help but take some of it away with you! The course has loads of great tips and is fantastic value for money with this offer and I got so much out of the course I attended.....including the gorgeous Luka referenced above!! I really would recommend it. Janine also leads the Positive Birth Movement group for Peckham, holding lmonthly meetings for people to discuss their experiences. I recently took Luka along as inspiration to other mums to be and it was great and empowering sharing stories,so contact Janine if you are interested in attending next time and hopefully see some of you there!

I think it is a great idea! I would be happy to bring my brood if it's day we can make.

Aqua classes for pregnant ladies
scrambles replied to Misscvsworn's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Aqua tots run a 4 week course at Lewisham hospital on Tuesday and Thursdayevenings.it's in the hydrotherapy pool and it's great! -
I can recommend a peace of cake. Ordered a specialist cake for my daughter who has allergies and the cake was a great hit, and delivered locally. Great value and really helpful communication. We all enjoyed the cake, especially my daughter - it was the first cake she has ever had! I will be re-ordering for my son in a few months.

Toddler glasses - where to buy?
scrambles replied to Buffnutter's topic in The Family Room Discussion
My son was referred to St Thomas' at 20 months and needed glasses. The hospital fitted him with a pair, free of charge. They Are pretty cool looking too! All sorts of colours, flexible frames which go round his head on elastic. I don't see why you should be buying any from anywhere else. When my son's first pair got scratched after a fall they did charge for a replacement but it was minimum fee. Good luck! If anyone has any tips on how to get a 2 year old to wear a patch then it would be much appreciated!
