We are looking for an Italian speaking nanny to do 10-20 hours per week - can add more if happy to do light housekeeping too. Days and times can be flexible depending on your availability, could be - Morning, 7 - 8.30am for school drop-off - Afterschool, 3.15pm until bedtime (approx. 8pm) - Evening, from 5pm until bedtime (approx. 8pm) - Saturday daytime Three kids, 2, 5 and 7 yrs old. Collect from school and nursery (close together) and bring them home on the bus (5 minutes). Will be required to make their dinner and get them ready for bed. Additional housekeeping hours available (cleaning, washing, running small errands) if you want extra hours. Required during term time, can offer alternate / longer days during holidays, alternatively you can take them off. Start date end August / early September.

Breakfast and afterschool club recommendation - for anyone looking for a club covering the Harris/Heber/Goodrich/St Anthonys area from Sept, I just wanted to recommend Momiies World. They operate out of the church at the top of Barry Road and do pickup and dropoff to the schools. The girls are all really lovely and do great activities (incl park trips in the summer), it includes meals/snacks and also runs until 7pm. Price is very reasonable and the admin team are super responsive and flexible. *note, they also have a summer holiday club running*. They dont have a website currently, but feel free to PM me and I will share the office details for you to get in touch. They currently have some spaces available.

Hey Holwil86! I agree with Catherine, ED is the best place for mum friends and activities...there is so much going on and so many groups you will never struggle for someone to hang around with (and for solidarity when up at 3am). I moved here when i was 7 months pregnant with my first (who is now 22 months) and some of my best mates are people from my first mat leave - lots of classes, walking around the parks, coffees, wine, mom and baby exercise - whatever you?re into, its there. You will love it. I think whatsapp and fb is a great idea. Will PM you my no. for the whatsapp...shall i set fb up and send you all the link? I also agree on the NCT. Its not bad if you want to make a few local friends due around the same time (im still in touch with mine), however it is largely focused on birth and not the important stuff after. Andrea x

Just want to recommend Craig Brown for any rodent issues. We've had a persistent mouse problem and Craig has been great, thoroughly checking our home for entry points and sealing them, trying different types of bait and traps. Ours was unfortunately something that warranted more than one visit, but it was never too much trouble for Craig to come back and do so quickly. I was also nervous about bait and traps with a one year old son crawling around, Craig made sure anything he did was done with this in mind and thoroughly explained it to me for peace of mind.
