  1. We get a 'letter post' delivery once a week, still missing post from the 26 March. Replacement sim card delivered 4 weeks after it was sent...
  2. Just had 3 items delivered 1 sent on the 6th December, the other 2 on the 8th December. Really angry as I emailed RM in early January to ask when they would get around to clearing the backlog as I didn't want the small business I ordered from to have to pay out to replace or refund me if RM were sitting on them and all RM could say, well if they haven't turned up now they're classed as lost. I waited until the 17th Jan before contacting the senders, now going to have to try to sort this out as they've now all refunded me.
  3. The Post Office on Lordship Lane is open. I've attached a photo of the opening times as they differ from what's stated on the website.
  4. Hi, does anyone know what time Lordship Lane post office closes today? The last time I went in there about two weeks ago the times on the door said 9.30-2.30pm but online it said open until 3pm. Thanks.
  5. I am completely opposed to these changes and have completed the consultation. I use this route to commute to London Bridge and it is pretty packed during rush hour, this has increased over the years not decreased, no doubt the crap train service from ED to LB have played a part in this. It's not like we have or are in consideration for a Tube station so our options are already limited. Taking away this busy route makes no sense whatsoever.
  6. Several of the big Royal Mail red bags full of post left on the Street unattended, managed after many attempts to get through to someone at Royal Mail who said they would contact the Peckham Office, after more than an hours wait 2 people turned up to sort it and move it. Have emailed Helen Hayes again as this is ridiculous and dangerous (identity fraud, theft etc), there's no excuse for leaving people's post unattended on the street, where it could be stolen/taken by anyone!

They have been doing this at the back of the 'closed' site on Pellatt Road every morning when I pass by on my way to work, mail all over the ground being sorted into boxes!
  8. I did this journey a few weeks back. Took the 78 bus from the stop at Peckham Rye/East Dulwich Road straight to Liverpool Street and then the train. It was pretty early so the bus took about 40 mins, TFL said 50 mins but I left extra time as they always seem to be digging up the roads somewhere! It wasn't the quickest option but I didn't have to worry about changing or stairs so it suited me well.
  9. Just wanted to add my thanks for all that you have done as my councillor, i'm genuinely sorry to see you go James. Not a Lib Dem supporter but i've always voted for you and this feels like a huge loss for us. Wishing you all the best.
  10. There's a message on the status page now, saying they're aware of the problem and working on it. So hopefully it will be fixed soon.
  11. Ours is down too. Went down around the same time as yours.
  12. Hi, looking for someone to remove an old satellite dish from the roof (it's a 2 storey house). PM me with your pricing or if you have any recommendations that would be great. Many thanks.
  13. Well they've now lost part of their contract with Amazon http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/oct/07/royal-mail-amazon-postal-strikes
  14. Got a parcel today, that was posted on the 8th September!
  15. We had the same thing last Sunday, said they were from Spencers and selling food, I didn't open the door just told him no thanks and he left.
