  1. LOL. Phlebotomist, presumably. Although every GP practice needs a lobotomist as well. Agree it seems to be mainly locums, maybe because they're cheaper?
  2. That's what they did for us too. Only when we turned up at TJ they told us the appointment had been wrongly booked with a nurse who didn't see children and they wouldn't see us. Fun times!
  3. Just a warning to others not to sign up to this surgery. It was fine several years ago, but the quality of service is now pretty appalling. They've failed to refer my son for treatment despite having agreed to do so months ago, and the doctors I've seen over the past months have seemed uncaring and fairly clueless. The reception staff, however, are always very polite. Any recommendations for good local practices gratefully received!
  4. Hi there, Does anyone know of anyone in the area who buys and sells clothes on eBay? I have quite a lot of good quality women's clothes (Ted Baker etc) that I've been meaning to eBay for ages but just don't have time to take all the pics, put them on the site etc. I wondered if anyone did it for a percentage of the profits. I've already given a lot to charity but could do with making a bit of the money back! Many thanks, Anna
  5. This sounds amazing, but we're away then. Do let us know of future camps!
  6. Hi there, Do people know of any good holiday camps running this summer? I know about Mother Nature Science, Nimble Arts, Write Sparks, Jolly Foresters, Dulwich Gallery courses and Stagecoach (all excellent), but I'm sure there are others I'm missing. Ideally non-sporty (although dance or gymnastics are apparently acceptable!). [Edited to say I see some have helpfully already been posted here: /forum/read.php?29,2037473] Many thanks, Anna
  7. Just wanted to second (or third) this. Jon was punctual, friendly and did a brilliant job. Highly recommended if you're looking for a window cleaner or someone to deep clean your carpets or furniture. https://www.jonsmithscleaningservices.co.uk
  8. Big fan of these classes. Kate is great: hugely positive and encouraging and with a loyal following.
  9. Hi there, Can anyone recommend a cat sitter to take care of our moggies? Many thanks.
  10. ‪I'm holding an event at Review Bookshop, Bellenden Road, Peckham, this Wednesday to celebrate the paperback launch of my debut novel, The Unseeing, based on a real murder in Camberwell. Crime, wine and local history. Come along. ‪https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/paperback-launch-of-the-unseeing-by-anna-mazzola-tickets-31317400187‬ http://annamazzola.com/
  11. Hi all, Does anyone know of any clubs/camps for children being held over the Christmas holidays, ideally arts/crafts/drama/science rather than sport? Many thanks, Anna
  12. At 7pm this Tuesday, 1 November, local authors Anna Mazzola and Stella Duffy will be at Camberwell Library talking about The Unseeing, London Lies Beneath, and murder and tragedy in South East London. It's free, but you need to book. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/stella-duffy-and-anna-mazzola-tickets-28610580015
