Do you use a care agency to care for yourself, a relative etc?
HanW replied to trinidad's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hello - we use Home Instead for my father who is living with dementia and Parkinson’s and has 24 hour live in care. We use a midlands branch where my father lives but I would hope the quality of their services is throughout the region. There is a Dulwich / Lambeth / Wandsworth branch https://www.homeinstead.co.uk/wandsworth-lambeth/ Hope your friend is ok. -
Try Firefly on Underhill Road. We bought a gas fire and had it installed by them recently and they also recommended a local chap to sweep and clean chimney before the fitting. https://firefly-london.com/

Does anywhere have lateral flow tests?
HanW replied to tomszekeres's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I also have been trying to get my hands on some since last week and resorted to my sister in the midlands posting me a box! I also emailed Helen Hays to raise the issue of what seems to be a shortage in the local area. Looks like it is now possible to order on the government website now though, thanks AylwardS. This service was currently showing as unavailable for the last week or so. -

Does anyone know a reputable local Day 2/5 test to release centre?
HanW replied to billyblaize's topic in The Lounge
Hi we recently used Doctap who have option to take the tests at apharmacy in Brixton. This was the most local we could find at the time. Same day results which all came through on time. Try to get a morning appt if you can as the tests are collected from them at 1pm so I think an afternoon appt would not get same day result back. http://www.doctap.co.uk/ Good luck, it?s a minefield working out the testing options and requirements! -
Thank you! I will do. Much appreciated.

We are looking for a carpenter/joiner to build some alcove units. Can anyone make recommendations for someone local? Thanks

Hi Helen I am a member of Dulwich Paragon (ladies are the Paragonettes) and there is a full range of cyclists in the club! I am certainly in the "steady social rider" category. Their intro rides are generally 1st Saturday of each month, give it a go and it will give you a chance to meet and ask questions before deciding whether to join. Alternative friendly options are Dirtywkend, https://www.dirtywknd.com/pages/membership - and also take a look at Queen of the Mountains who do women only/focused rides https://www.queenofthemountains.co.uk/pages/our-rides
