  1. So pleased Daphne has turned up and glad the door knocking paid off! I'll remove any flyers I see on my travels
  2. We've seen this cat in our garden a few times in the past few months and we're on Upland Road near Piermont Green - will keep an eye out and maybe see if we can get him to the vets to scan for a chip if no claimants on this post. He always seems a little lost but also looks well fed and in good condition...
  3. Think we found the Scott one - PM sent.
  4. Hi all I remember seeing a post about one a while ago but can no longer locate it - is there a book club in and around East Dulwich? Thanks!
  5. A Russian blue is often around our road but it has a collar and is quite big, does yours wear a collar?
  6. This Thursday at the EDT starting at 8pm - ?50 bar tab for the winner PLUS a raffle too. All proceeds go to charity. Flyer attached!
  7. Moss: My mum always says: ?Never open the door?. An unopened door is a happy door, so we never answer ours when someone knocks. Jen: What if it?s good news? Moss: This is London Jen, it?s not like there?s someone with cake. Unless that cake is made of dog poo and knives.
  8. Hi all, We live on Upland Road (right opposite Piermont Green) and most evenings for several hours (between 7 and 10) can hear a dog barking nearby. We think it's possibly Friern Road or Underhill Road but really are not too sure. Does anyone nearby hear the same barking and know where it's coming from? It sounds like the dog is either being left alone or ignored and to hear it barking for so long can be quite upsetting. I'd like to approach the owners to see if any assistance is required, we have a dog and would be willing to pet sit for a few hours if that was what was needed to keep the dog company. Thanks.
  9. Not a problem. We will keep of course keep an eye out. Perhaps if you have a poster you could send it to me? As I live on Upland Road, I can print it out and put it through letterboxes.
  10. Anyone around the area in which he was last seen, if you have some free time tomorrow evening, perhaps we can all meet in a place and conduct a search? We can all spread out and have a look perhaps? There seems to be enough people wanting to help :)
  11. "Sympathies to OP. Turns the stomach to think how callously they snip and run." Just like an evil Doctor performing a vasectomy.
  12. Hi KatPenelope, thanks for your reply, this cat was quite big and more white with black patches. I think I have found his owner (Ronnijade) who lives a few roads down. I believe the kitty is called Marmite and can be a wanderer. There are quite a few cats on Upland Road and most don't have collars so I'll be posting on here soon to see if anyone is missing their cat(s).
