Fly-tipping outside Harris Primary
RenatoMattos replied to RenatoMattos's topic in Roads & Transport
The rubbish in Sainsbury's bags is from a house across the road, this is considered fly-tipping, have other photos with garden rubbish, paint bucket and BBQ, this has been happening for a long time! -
The bin outside Harris Primary School has been a spot for fly-tipping weekly. This is now a hazard for the children going to school every day - they have to walk over the rubbish to get into the school! The rubbish has been there since Saturday, it is Tuesday 23 April today and nothing has been done! I've see a person who lives across the road dumping her house rubbish to into the bin but I believe it is not only her now but other people too! This has been reposted to Southwark Council: https://report.southwark.gov.uk/report/5888283

To report a problem caused by a bike: Click on the User icon top left > Help > Improper or illegal parking Maybe because everything they do in the area is driven by money! A good example is Townley Road school restrictions (Mon - Frid 8.00 - 9.00 am / 3.00 - 4.30 pm), the council has place the sign 400 meters into the street instead of the entrance, making it difficult for drivers to notice the sign - the council will also give you a fine on bank and school holiday!

Dog alert - the council is spraying the pavement with poison It took me a long time to find out why my dog was sick after eating grass along the pavement, which is a normal dog behaviour! Not even the vet knew what was wrong till I noticed the council spaying the grass with poison outside my house and this morning they are around once again. This should be illegal! 😡 I’m wondering if one knows how to stop the council from poisoning our streets???

The effect of the Order would be to introduce a pedestrian and cycle zone in Landcroft Road in the vicinity of Harris Primary Academy East Dulwich. All motor vehicles except permit holders would be prohibited from entering or proceeding in Landcroft Road, between its junctions with Whateley Road and Silvester Road, between 8.00 am and 9.30 am and between 2.30 pm and 4.00 pm (Monday to Friday, during school term time, as determined by the Harris Primary Academy East Dulwich). Permits allowing vehicles to enter the ‘School Streets’ pedestrian and cycle zone would be available to residents of premises located within the zone, to registered carers or residents of premises located within the zone, to disabled person’s blue badge holders who are school staff, carers or dropping off and/or collecting pupils to the school and to SEND vehicles, by application to the Council. Exemptions would also apply in respect of emergency service vehicles. NOTE: This Order would revoke and supersede the existing similar provisions in Landcroft Road.

Gail's Bakery in East Dulwich 🙌

I disagree with you, sorry! Yes, there are cakes made elsewhere but there are lots of sandwiches made on the premises - you can see them making it from 11:00! There are also other food baked there! -
GAIL's Bakery - Latest addition to our high street! It was about time to have a cafe with fresh food made on the premises - great service! In my opinion the Turkey sandwich and the Christmas buns is one of the best I've had!

An Amber warning has been issued by The Met Office for Sunday 17 and Monday 18 July and Southwark Council decided to cut back our lovely trees on Lordship Lane - unbelievable and infuriating! Southwark Council mission statement on their website is "we value trees as a vital component of the borough’s landscape"! Do you believe it!

Heartbreaking to know that the drinks I offered to the guys who collect my garden and house rubbish today was the first drink they had all morning. Not everyone can buy expensive drinks but a bottle of water will make a massive different on a hot day. The next few days will be extremely hot and absolutely important to help them to hydrate! Please help if you can! -
Hi Klare, I've just got home from work to find the wonderful job Chirs did on my tree today. It's a mirabelle tree and it looks fantastic! I highly recommend him!!! Chris 07508 621861
