Another recommendation for Jafar. I needed my new UFH connected urgently and my regular guy John Powers was on holiday as well as other contacts I tried. I contacted Jafar who managed to fit a visit that same day, and was able to fit me in the next day to do the works. He is a very friendly, polite and likeable guy, who's work I can't fault, and leaves the place nice and clean afterwards. Reasonable rates and diligent worker. I will deffenitely hire him in again.

I'd like to recommend Clive Bloomfield as an excellent painter/decorator. He did a job for me a couple of years ago which involved filling cracks and repainting a large ceiling, and he gave it an immaculate finish, leaving everything as clean and tidy as it was. Recently I had a leak from the upstairs flat and the same ceiling got damaged with heavy yellow stains and cracks appeared again. Again I called Clive who has done a brilliant job. He is also very reasonably and honestly priced and has a very professional and agreeable manner. .

If you need a good reliable plumber I highly recommend J Powers and his team, has done several jobs in my flat over the last few years, more recently last week whilst I was away and my wife and daughter found themselves with no heating on a very cold day, he was able to come within a few hours and repair the heater- he knew what the problem was from a conversation on the phone, and had a spare fan with him to fix the problem! Nice guy, knowledgeable, usually available at short notice and very reasonably priced.

I'd like to recommend Clive Bloomfield as painter/decorator, whom I found in this forum. He painted one of the rooms in my flat and the hall and did a good job, repairing some holes in the plaster and filling cracks in the ceiling, then leaving everything clean afterwards, and at a very reasonable price. Hi I'd like to recommend Brad and his team at All Round Renovations (tel: 07980 662 456), they did a great job of painting our hall and fitting a new floor (laminate). Very pleased with their workmanship, and very nice to deal with. Also it was the cheapest quote that we got.

Hi all, I have a persistent problem of trying to damp proof a storage space under my front of house stairs. Anyone know a good builder who has experience of this kind of problem please? Thanks
