  8. Hi, To the young lady who had her phone stolen by a lime bike this evening at the junction of Brenchley Gardens and Forest Hill rd. I chased the thief and retrieved your phone. When i returned to the junction, you were gone. If you are reading this or know her, DM me.
  9. Just seen reports that Sinead O’connor lived ( and so sadly died) in Herne Hill. Had no idea she was local. Does anyone know where she lived in SE24? Would like to leave flowers
  10. Who can afford to shop in Poundland anyway?
  11. The local scuttlebutt is that it’s this house https://www.harveywheeler.com/Property-For-Sale-Stradella-Road-London-pi-HWHE713.htm Overlooked like crazy from behind. I doubt they’ll move in. It’s a snipers dream.
  12. Additional checks at the border negatively impact incoming perishable goods. The second time a lorry is returned to a supplier in say Holland, would be the last time they choose to supply the UK so will pivot to mainland Europe customers. This means UK supermarkets have to rely more on UK grown fresh produce. Unfortunately most EU pickers on low / seasonal wages have long gone never to return….. thus more empty shelves and higher prices. This won’t be the only reason but a considerable contributing element to what is being observed in our shops.
  13. Absolutely agree. And whilst we’re on the subject, don’t you find car owners parking their cars on a public highway outside their house absolutely disrespectful to motorists who drive on such narrow, cramped streets? If they can’t park them in their garage or on their drive then they simply shouldn’t be allowed to own a car IMHO.
