  1. I have no kids ( thankfully ) but I have no problem children being in cafe/pub under one condition they behave and are quiet.

As an adult I do not want to eat in a place that has children running around and being a damn right nuisance after all if I did that you would likely call 999

The problem with "some" parents around here is that they think they are superior and invincible because they have offspring.

How many places do you want anyway to be child friendly? in my experience there seems to be quiet a few already!

  2. People of all walks of life need to be more respectful of their surroundings and not litter full stop!!

Pick up after your dog, child and self the streets of dulwich remind me of a rubbish dump. I even pick up rubbish and place it in the bin that is inches away why because I can rather than moaning about it and leaving it on the floor.

Got to go my halo needs polishing :)

  3. I'm a cyclist and a driver and as with every situation there is good and bad, right and wrong.

I get very annoyed at the cyclists who treat roads as a playground, the ones who ride in black in the dark no helmet no lights if they get hit who's fault will it be???

On the other side there are good cyclists who follow the road rules and wear the correct gear and are very road wise ( I include myself in this )

There are drivers who have no awareness of other road users whether it be bike, pedestrian or motor vehicle driver and we all know the kind. The ones on their mobile phones mostly but other examples do apply!

And then there are many many great drivers out there who are aware and polite and sensible.

My point is faults are among all types but we have a tendency to stereotype/tar all with same brush based on our own experiences.

Let us all treat road users how we want to be treated PLEASE!!!

  4. I couldn't agree more with this thread I have lived in dulwich now for 18months and keep hearing from the local community of how fantastic it is and what a great place to live ( some of which is true ) but I am shocked at how filthy it looks in most of the streets. Some you can blame on the foxes but who puts out rubbish in bin liners knowing full well that they will get ripped to shreds and don't get me started on the dog poo ( owners fault not the pet )

    Dulwich is scummy!!!!

  5. Why on earth would some of you so called dulwich dwellers want m and s here instead of icelands. Is it perhaps that you can't be seen in a lower price supermarket that caters for lots of people who can't afford m and s prices.

Everyone needs to shop and dulwich needs shops that cater for all it's residents no matter their income!!!!

This is my opinion and respect everyone's on here and I hope that everyone is grown up with their potential response :)
