Local growing Art company is seeking a bookkeeper to become part of its expanding team. Ideal for a local Mum or Dad seeking part time hours. Initial requirement would be 3-4 hours per week. Role will expand as the company grows. Hours can be set to accommodate applicant; working days are Monday-Thursday The ideal applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of Xero accounting software. Core duties include: * Data entry: Recording financial transactions and balancing the books. * Bank reconciliation: Cross-referencing the books against bank statements and other source documents to confirm accuracy. * Monthly reports: Summarising the business’s financial position. * Accounts receivable (and credit control): Creating and sending invoices, and following up to get them paid. * Accounts payable: Making sure invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid in a timely manner. * Payroll: Calculating pay and deductions. * Tax filing: Preparing tax returns in accordance with our company Accountant * End of year reporting: Assisting with annual profit and loss and balance sheet reports. The business operates through an e-commerce site (selling art prints) and trade projects (installation of framed art in commercial spaces). The applicant will need to be confident with accessing reports form the website and consolidating with the trade work. Please DM if interested.

Daily printing of orders 2. Packaging 3. Posting 4. Printing Art for commercial projects 5. Delivery to and from local framers 6. Basic research support for art supplies 7.
