  1. Yes it is purposefully broad. Would love to hear from as many community groups as possible whether it is one off local events or a group that is organised in a more structured way 🙂. Thank you all f or your replies that is really helpful!
  2. Hello 🙂 I am working on a local project and would love to know any community-related groups that anyone knows about? Any shape or size, whether exercise, a talking group, creativity, etc. Thank you!

  4. Hello! Could anyone tell me who organised the photos on North Cross Road of "old" Dulwich? Was it Southwark Council? Thank you 🙂
  5. Hello! I am undertaking a research project remotely for The University of Glasgow. The purpose of this study is to find out perceptions of community-based solutions for loneliness. Community-based solutions are the active engagement with local either voluntary or non-voluntary classes, workshops or volunteering which foster connection of individuals. These can look like anything from local gardening groups, yoga classes, wellbeing support groups, and event themed initiatives to foster connections. UK Funding has increased with a focus on community initiatives as a method for treating loneliness, with the UK government announcing Social Prescribing connector schemes as their main method (Gov.UK, 2022). The aim of such schemes is to meet the unmet social needs of those with a high risk of loneliness in order to improve their overall health and wellbeing through referrals to community initiatives, such as local classes and charities who run meet-up groups. This study looks to understand how people perceive these efforts as a solution for loneliness. If you are within the age group between 18-64 years old, which is the target demographic age group and you resonate with the statement that you have felt lonely at times (Loneliness is defined as perceived isolation, meaning the perceived lack of social relationship versus the desired status ), then you are qualified to take part.
