Works were due to start today and residents duly moved their cars so after there was no sign of works or preparations I queried it with FW Conway and this was their reply:
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your recent enquiry.
We can confirm that the resurfacing works that were due to start today have had to be cancelled due to Thames Water completing emergency works. We are awaiting an update from Southwark council as to whether the emergency works will be completed in time for us to commence works tomorrow.
We apologise for any inconvenience that has been caused, and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

So we still don't know if works will start tomorrow or when we can move our cars back.
