Our week long mixed aerial intensive can change your aerial game for good! There will be a range of aerial classes throughout the week, after initial sessions in disciplines in Silks, Rope, Hoop and Trapeze, you will be given the opportunity to specialise in your chosen discipline. Also, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at a range of other disciplines such as Straps, Slings, Spanish Web and Aerial Yoga. Through a programme of conditioning and flexibility sessions we will also create a bespoke training programme for every participant to ensure that you can continue working towards your goals after the week is over. Over the course of the week we will work towards creating an act - in time for a performance on the last day. Every participant will receive training sheets and notes from the week, a personalised training programme – as well as a guaranteed surge of endorphins from the end of course performance! There are 15 minute breaks in both morning and afternoon sessions, as well as a lunch break (times and duration vary from day to day). The course is open to anyone with a good basic understanding of Aerial. The ability to invert in mid-air is a prerequisite. One of the highlights of our schedule is our Family Acro and Aerial extravaganza! A fantastic afternoon of fun and games for all the family ages 4-104yo. NB - You need to book per person. There must be one adult in a family group. Over the course of this 2 hour workshop, you'll all get the opportunity to take to the air with an aerial workshop. Let the kids fly by introducing them to some Silks and Trapeze - maybe even working on some doubles moves! Then over to Acro! Learning the basics of partner acrobatics. Have fun while learning to trust and communicate in a physical movement setting. If previous workshops are anything to go by, it'll be a fun filled session. Full of laughs, giggles and games! We are running a 1 day aerial workshop for your young flyers age 7-16 on Tuesday 28th October! It is set to be a fun filled day where your kids feet literally wont touch the floor as they will be flying high on aerial silks, slings, hoop and trapeze! No experience necessary as our team of experienced instructors are adept at working with different levels to keep everybody safe! We run family workshops at Flying Fantastic where everyone can get in on the aerial & acro fun! This half term run away to the circus with your kids and we’ll play games, hang around aerial slings, swing on some trapezes and climb all over each other (literally) to do some acro! There’s something in the air this half term…. your young Flyers! Join us on Tuesday 18th February for a full day of aerial fun! Expect stars on slings, spinning in hoops and all kinds of aerial antics! We'll get your flyers in the holiday mood, try our best to tire them out & play some seriously silly games, while quenching their thirst for some airtime fun! 10-4pm, Union Street Studios, SE1 0LR. £95/booking. Aerial isn't easy. But the challenge is part of what makes it so fun! We're all about making it as accessible as we can. So this workshop is for people who want a slower paced aerial class and might need some more assistance. We will rig the equipment at a lower height and provide as much support as we can to get you making some shapes in the air, most likely on slings and hoop, but we're flexible on this one too. The workshop is two hours long so everyone can have a go with plenty of time for breaks! We welcome wheelchair users, disabled people, visually impaired adults as well as deaf adults. If you don't live unassisted, you may need to bring a carer to class. We would like you to introduce yourselves before booking so we know what to plan. This June, our family acro and aerial workshop is back! If you have wannabe superheroes at home who love to swing and climb; this is the perfect day out for you! But why should the kids have all the fun? In our Family Aerial and Acrobatics workshops, you can fly as a family! You'll all learn moves in the air on silks and trapeze. And on the floor you'll be learning to build pyramids, make human towers and generally hold each other up as your children walk all over you (literally)! Ages 4-104.
