At the Institute of Child Health UCL, London, we are carrying out a study to look at the outcome at preschool-age of children who were diagnosed with epilepsy when they were less than 2 years old. As part of this research, we also need to test children who have no history of epilepsy but are of a similar age as a comparison and we are looking for children to take part in this comparison group. This study involves about 1-2 hours and you will receive ?10 to compensate for your and your child's time. During the study your child will sit in your lap or on a comfortable chair and watch some pictures on a computer screen while record his or her EEG, and you will be asked to fill out some questionnaires.
