Hi ! I’m olive, a 20 year old university student looking for a part time nannying role for any time between the start of may to the end of August. I have previous experience in childcare, as in my gap year I worked as a nanny for the most of a year for the most wonderful family. I mainly looked after a one (now two) year old boy and four (now five) year old girl though I helped with the newborn where I could when she got older. I handled tasks such as nap times, cooking, trips out, play dates, school runs and cleaning. I took an active role in organising fun activities and day trips during school holidays whilst maintaining their routines. I am also registered with Koru kids so have completed all training through them (first aid etc.) and hold an enhanced DBS check. I’m based in Honor Oak, however am very familiar with the East/North Dulwich and Herne Hill area as I used to live and work there yet, I am comfortable to branch out. I would really love something similar again but finding part time work has been tricky when I have been back from university and I understand that it might not fit everyone. However if anyone is in need of any help at all across any ages, or need some general AD HOC babysitting during this time I would be more than happy to help. Through the agency I worked with, I completed online childcare training and hold an enhanced DBS check. I absolutely loved my job but had to pass it on when I began studying in Leeds this September. I’ll be back home over the Christmas holidays and would love to find childcare work again — whether that’s temporary nannying, babysitting, or helping at a holiday club. I’m very familiar with the Dulwich and Herne Hill areas and would also be open to something longer term during future university breaks if it’s a good fit.
