Sorry, you couldn't teach me anything to be honest! my first 15 years on the road as a motorcyclist with 3 bad accidents when car drivers knocked me off the road resulting in hospital time with broken limbs, one being into oncoming traffic. I learned a lot and have eyes everywhere when driving a car, (also around 15 years) constantly being aware of motorcycles/cycles and pedestrians.

I got done for 23mph by the Peckham Rye camera not long after it changed from 30mph, did the farcical speed awareness course at the Bromley Court Hotel, although it was funny at times apart from stating the obvious to us more experienced drivers with an exemplary past record up until this point! 😀

Regardless of what the majority think, (although they never get a voice in any council matters) the council will go ahead with this regardless. Wonga!
-
It certainly is! no surprise though with the wet wipes that have been running (down) our country over the last 30+ years.

The eyesore is left, right and elsewhere of said box.😉

It's firework season now up until early Jan 2026. Starting with celebrating the failure of terrorist Guy Fawkes on November 5th! BOOM!

Get used to it! 'major incidents' are a regular occurrence these days! some ignored by mainstream media.

Are we now under a flight path?

This location has always been where they line up for the Heathrow glide slope, and depending on the predominant S/Westerly wind direction/speed/gusts/or variable, the engine sound levels will differ, but during a northerly weather/wind direction spell it will be mostly quietish in the skies. -
Crikey! This Doesn't Look Good For The Housing Secretary

Centrist politics - why have Tories gone further to the right?
Dulwichway replied to malumbu's topic in The Lounge
The Tories have been pretty much left leaning since the irreversible Blair and Booth damage to Britain! now they are just starting to go right again, I guess. -

Don't be ridiculous! the majority will never let that happen. You and the regular left/far left just love stirring the pot of the few that use this forum. 😉 -

Don't be ridiculous! And it appears that some of his fears have already come into fruition? -
Well, I like your user name anyway, even if you now have second thoughts? 😎

Shocking analogy, you should get another forum ban for that. -
"church parade" ? lol! religion is for the lesser minded folk. Most countries worldwide has a flag that represents them and is proudly flown, no harm it that surely? it does represent our patriotism, don't confuse it with separatism, my friends and mixed race family are angry the way the left wing media are destroying mergence.
-
Would be nice to fly the English flag on all English Council and Government buildings in actual England for gods sake! and if the respectful invited newcomers in recent decades assimilated to our well established society, how nice would that be now? happy families and a prosperous exciting friendly future together. You know it makes sense!. 😉

I am always aware of these dodgy obstructions when driving, but agree with some they can be.
