Thanks macaroni.
Yeah, all these lifts to street level have been a revelation to me. I wasn't really aware of them before. I guess we have wheelchair users to thank.

Specifically I need an Interior designer who either specialises in retail interiors or has some experience of it.
It would be nice to use someone local, so if anyone has any recommendations then please let me know. Or if you are an Interior designer please post link to website/portfolio.
Thanks.

Thanks everyone! Really good advice. I'm always nervous with my heavy mamas n papas buggy on escalators/stairs, but I'll give it a go at Brixton. If it's too much (scary) for me, I'll bail out at Green Park, get lift to street level and walk.
All the other top tips have been noted for future reference... And possibly a lighter buggy.
Thanks again.

I've got to go into town next week, and am taking the little one in his chariot. I was thinking of trying out the tube. Has anyone done Brixton to Oxford circus with a buggy? Is it step free? Do I have to use escalators? Is it a nightmare?
Thanks in advance xx

I expect there'll be a forest of buggies and babies. How will I know who I'm looking for? Should me and baby wear red carnations?

Me and my little one went today, then walked round the park and spent ages hanging out at the paddling pool/sand pit feature thing they've got - not that there was any water, but it was still a nice spot to enjoy the weather.
I love Brockwell park.
