  1. Great help from Vladi, who fixed the Mower three weeks ago.

Used Lawn Mower last Thursday not having been used for three weeks, two pulls on the starter cord and fired into action. Grass cut , thanks again Vladi.

  2. Delighted to say that Vladi, called at home last Saturday afternoon, 29/07/23.

He brought his tool kit and in about 30 minutes, Lawn Mower working like a dream.

I proceeded to cut the grass, about  200 square meters, took me about fifty minutes, worked perfectly.

Very many thanks Vladi, much appreciated.

  3. My grassed area is about 250 square meters. It usually takes about fifty minutes to cut with the petrol mower.

I have checked on cordless mowers but most have a usable time of about twenty minutes before requiring charging of about ninety minutes. For a more powerful machine with two batteries, becomes very expensive £350.00 or more. The batteries are the most expensive part costing in the region of £70.00 each

  4. You do not need a solicitor. You can download all the documentation from the website. There are two types of LPA one regarding health matters and the other for financial affairs. The information is fairly easy to understand.

Important to follow the guidance precisely. Each one will cost £82.00 and will take about twenty weeks to become registered.

    Hope this helps.

  5. There was talk when Maggie moved into Dulwich Village, that the house was a gift from, I think, Bovis (or some other national building company) as a PR stunt. The building company was being slated for poor quality new housing and Maggie having one of their houses, other people would take note and purchase. Heard this tale from various people including friends who had strong links to various MPs at the time.

I believe it was a gift from "Barrett Housing" or "Barrett Developments" I remember driving past as it was being built "Secure gated development"

  6. My buildings insurance also increased by about 25%. I used this broker

Academy Insurance Services. 01784 461131 based in Egham Surrey.

Discussed with Ben Jarrett, insurance advisor.

Eventually insured via this broker, having contacted four other brokers, saved me about 15%.

A number of insurers will not cover this area due to Subsidence and Flooding.

    Hope this proves useful.

  7. My wife's computer has been locked by a virus or programme. Word and voice message tells me to call Microsoft support 0203 772 3313. Is this legitimate or a scam in progress, any advice or suggestions most gratefully received.

I have run Norton Powe Erazer and Talk Talk F Secure, both said no threats found.

  8. Item given to one of my wife's carers. I am sure you will be aware that very few of them have cars and they are always under pressure to deliver a service to their clients. They have to use public transport or walk This totally precludes them from delivery functions, as time constrictions would not permit. I would not have the audacity even ask one of them to act as a postie. Amazon did inform me that a full credit would be issued to Emily Palmer.
  9. Package from Amazon, a small plastic phone case, now given to one of my wife's carers.

Package addressed to Emily Palmer SE22 0NF.Herewith email to me from Amazon.
