Two weeks ago they took charge of our car, passed its MOT and then released it back in an unroad-worthy and potentially dangerous condition!

Only tried this garage after the manager moved from Park garage in the Village where we'd always taken our car. We'd seen all the reviews, but were told it is a completely new team....Now I dont think that is true.

Booked car in for a service and MOT 2 weeks in advance, gave them the details of what Mercedes had said needed doing so they could get parts ready.

Arrived on the day and they had all details of owner and car, but no booking.

I was starting to get nervous, but they said they'd still do it.

I phoned late afternoon to be told the brakes had not arrived (i had explained in advance what parts were needed) and they wouldn't have time to fit. I collected the car which had a full service and passed its MOT no problems at all.

The next day i could start to smell petrol. Checking under the bonnet i found a discarded rag left on top of the engine. We then noticed petrol leaking underneath.

We took the car to Turners on Barry Rd. It transpires they had wrenched off the filter pipe and split it before refitting it again. the car was unroadworthy and they had to make some emergencies repairs before they'd let us take the car off the premises as it was not roadworthy. Croxted Motors had actually serviced and MOT'd a car and then let us drive off with an unroadworthy vehicle, leaking petrol and with a fire hazard under the bonnet...

Complaint now drafted for the good garage scheme as we've not heard anything back from Croxted Motors in 2 weeks since we made a complaint.

We are looking for someone who has experience (or has looked after dogs before and has time) of dog sitting/walking.

Can anyone recommend a dog sitter/walker in SE21 area or have you ever considered looking after a dog for a few hours a day for 3 days a week (only required during term time)? Rate negotiable.

A friend got a ticket for being parked adjacent to a dropped footway in Whorlton Rd a few weeks ago. When I checked the car was parked 10m from a 1m wide dropped pedestrian kerb. I suspect Southwark or their enforcement officers have been told to target dropped footways, and in our case just target any car in the close vicinity in the hope that people will blindly pay.

Bicycle has not been recovered and as far as I am aware, one week on, CID in Camberwell are YET to even assign anyone to the case!!!

If anyone sees a Gary Fisher Tassajara mountain bike, metallic burgundy, no front brake cable, lying in a verge, locked up or other please let me know.

Hello all,

My name is Tristan Shone and I am 14 years old and will be 15 in August. I'm looking for a job of any sort as I'd love to gain some experience in the world of work as well as earning money for myself. I am very adaptable and keen to do any job. I am free on the weekends and during the majority of the school holidays. I am fairly tall for my age at 6ft and I'm very active and fit. I am fluent in French and highly competent in both Spanish and German. I would be more than happy to do babysitting as I am a very friendly and caring young man who is great with kids and I have a little brother (aged 7) who I have looked after during the evenings many times.
