  1. I had an horrifically scary experience with my Phil & Ted's buggy on Friday that I wanted to share in case it prevents a terrible accident. I had been getting on and off the trains all day, then suddenly when I went to get off the train in Purley the front wheel fell off the buggy and under the train. The whole buggy lurched forward and down - luckily my baby was strapped in and I had the loop around my wrist so I was able to keep a hold of the buggy and stop it and my baby from following the wheel down and through the gap in the platform and under the train!! It was so scary. I wanted to let people know to be careful if you have a phil & ted buggy where the front wheel detaches. I don't know why the wheel came off suddenly. I had got on to the train and it was fine and on and off a few trains throughout the day. Perhaps the lever got caught on the edge of the train on the way out?? There was no way to get the wheel until the train pulled out, then they stopped the trains on the track in order to get the wheel off the track - I dread to think what would have happened if I didn't have the strap around my wrist.

Please be careful - I have contacted phil & ted to let them know.

  2. I just wanted to post a positive review on my experience with Winkworth. We dealt with Toby when recently selling our flat and he totally exceeded my expectations. He was extremely professional, communicative and reasonable throughout the whole sales process. I also really felt that he was fair in how he dealt with us but also our purchaser. In the final stages of the sale we hit a road block (a practical issue, no fault of ours or our buyer) and Aisha, who manages the office, got involved and quickly found a solution. They really exceeded my expectations so I wanted to recommend them on here - I found them to be very hard workers and very knowledgable/professional.
  3. Hi

I was suffering from excruciating pain from SPD, a couple of weeks of Physio at ESPH on lordship lane and a Serola belt and I am virtually pain free despite being near term in my pregnancy. I saw Aisling & another female physio at ESPH and they have been great. You will need to strip down to your pants so they can assess your pelvis - so you may prefer to see a female physio.

Good luck - it really is so awful!

  4. Hi

I would definitely recommend PJ Newnham 07775 520400. There are a number of recommendations for him on the forum. Nice guy, very reasonable and excellent work. He had our keys for a few weeks and is totally trustworthy in my experience. Highly recommend him, he does bathroom and kitchen refurbs.

  5. Just wanted to recommend an excellent mortgage broker on Lordship Lane Massimo Stanzioni. I have a somewhat complex set of circumstances and once again he has managed to get me a cracking deal. His service levels are excellent, if you are self employed or have any difficult requirements he is definitely the guy to go to. I can only imagine he must be very good too if you are a straightforward case.

    His contact number is: 020 8693 7778

  6. Hi

I have signed my dog and I up for some training with Andy from Bark Busters, however I have seen some bad reviews online. Not for Andy but for Bark Busters in general. I was wondering if anyone had worked with Andy from Bark Busters for dog training and whether you would recommend him?

PM me if you would prefer.

Many thanks in advance for any feedback.
