I would like to recommend Tony Pooley, who recently did our garden. Tony was easy to work with and very flexible - we had a basic idea of what we wanted and he helped us to come up with a design, but he was happy for us to make alterations as we went along, or leave some elements to be confirmed once the ground was cleared and we could see the layout. Knitting Together in the Garden - an event for World Wide Knit in Public Day - the only one in South London!

When: Saturday 18 June 2016, 12-4pm

Where: Bessemer Grange Nature Garden, Nairne Grove, SE5 8HP (opposite the main site of Bessemer Grange Primary School)

What are we doing: knitting (or crocheting) in a lovely nature garden, meeting new people, teaching people to knit if they don't already and (hopefully) enjoying a bit of sunshine (but we can't guarantee that!)

What you should bring: your knitting (or crocheting) or a willingness to learn! deckchair or picnic rug, umbrella or suncream

Facilities: basic outdoor loo, wooden benches, light refreshments will be available to purchase
