  1. Does anyone know of a pop choir for children anywhere near to East Dulwich/Peckham/Forest Hill? There seem to be lots of adult choirs about but I can't find anything for kids. They used to run an after school pop choir at school but don't seem to be offering it right now. Any options would be warmly welcome for my very musically keen 6 year old.

    Many thanks

  2. I would like to recommend my cleaner, Susan. She always does an amazing job on our house which often includes a big tidy up after my kids. I find her to be totally trustworthy and to be someone who would always go that extra mile even if it means staying beyond the 3 hours I pay her. I am happy to give references if needed. Please contact her direct on 07506173813. Thanks!
  3. This is a little random. I know that there are lots of ex-forumites who have moved out to Berkhamsted and surrounds. My brother and family are living up that way and have found themselves in a situation where they urgently need a nanny/childminder. Can anyone help?

    Many thanks

  4. Hi all

I'd like to whole heartedly recommend my lovely cleaner, Susan. She does a wonderful job on our house and always goes that extra mile to finish any last bits often staying beyond the time I pay her. Her rate per hour is ?10 and it's really worth every penny. You can call her on 07506173813.

  5. I urgently need one of these for tomorrow! I ordered a bespoke yellow cape so that my daughter could be a 1966 batgirl on her birthday tomorrow but it would seem that this cape is not now going to arrive in time. Gah! Does anyone either have one we could borrow or know of anywhere that might sell them. I believe that Robin wears a yellow cape if anyone had one of these.

    Thanks so much!

  6. If anyone finds a very dirty looking small brown Steiff bear, please please let me know! He was lost this afternoon somewhere in East Dulwich but quite probably around the area of Ondine/Marsden/Oglander Roads. We are desperate to find him.

    Thanks

  7. Just to add that I also thought that Kuki was absolutely fantastic. I had a cut and highlights by Shinto last weekend and I'm really pleased with the result. I have been to Willis B on a number of occasions and tend to feel quite disappointed with what I end up with there. Their prices are also way too high considering that their stylists are very average which forces me to head to my old salon in the West End. I will certainly be returning to Shinto at Kuki and totally avoiding Willis B in the future.
  8. A really informative talk for those wishing to find out about all aspects of home birthing given by two really great midwives. They normally also have people there who have recently been through the experience.

If you're still not sure to go for the home birth, then this could be really helpful for you.

    Start: 10am

Where: Midwives Centre, Bavent Road, SE5 (just off Coldharbour Lane)

  9. Help! My little one's most favourite teddy has disappeared. I'm sure he was left in the kitchen this morning but he does often get picked up and carried in the buggy when we go out. I'm just wondering if he's been seen or found around the streets of ED/Peckham this morning. He's a rather battered and grubby looking Steiff bear with "my first steiff" stamped on his right foot. Any news would be great! In the meantime, I'm trying to track a new one down locally but no where seems to stock them. We've already had a very upsetting nap time!

    Thanks!>:D<
