  1. Thanks ladies! As always, very helpful advice. Think I will hit Tommys, and Old Kent Road! x Mel
  2. A big mothercare by E&Castle would be ideal! I was just considering the Mothercare at Lewisham. I'm really keen to go to a shop first, and try them out. I've got a 14 month old, and still looking for the ideal stroller... x
  3. Hi there, I live in East Dulwich - no car, so public transport. Where is the best place for a wide range of prams? Is there a "Pram City" etc, that is accessible by bus/train? x Mel
  4. I've found the staff very rude as well. Recently, I politely asked one of the staff to help me move my coffee and cake as I was changing to a different table, and she glared at me (so much that people nearby noticed!) - Bearing in mind, I had wriggling baby on my hip, and thought I wasn't asking the impossible. Then she proceeded to move one cup - and left the cake and saucers on the table. Don't think I left a tip that day!
  5. I'm in love with the Mountain Buggy too! Just saw on a website, it's ?580 - Available late July.... nylonmeals Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > That Mountain Buggy one looks fab - wonder how ??? > it will be? Like the totally flat attachment for > the newborn
  6. Hi Snowboarder! Age gap under 20months, budget - under ?300 would be nice - Moving to Australia in August, so be driving mostly. House is pretty big. 7. Hi everyone, I'm researching double/tandem buggies online, and as usual, getting lots of conflicting reviews! Is the P&T's Explorer tandem the best? Or what's your favourite? I'd love to hear your thoughts. xMel
  8. Hi Sally, Ruth might be able to confirm for me, but as far as I know, the Goose Green baby group - at the Church by the big playground - is 10am on Monday to 12pm. ?1.50-?2 - drop in. Great for a 5month old too - lots of crawling space and toys. I will go check it out tomorrow. xMel
  9. Hi there Just wondering if the Goose Green baby group is running? Monday mornings. Not the sing and sign, but the other one... Thanks x Mel
  10. Hi Kim Hope you are feeling better? Will the Tippee Toes be running next Monday? xMel
  11. Okay no problem. I can't go next Wednesday I've got some appointments. I'll try the one after that :-)
  12. Sorry I didn't make it either, was in town for appointment. Are you going Friday?
  13. Hi everyone, What is Ruby Rhymes? I'm looking on internet, but can't find anything... Sounds like fun!
  14. AH! I've just seen on website, the morning session times. I will be there around 930am - maybe a bit after :-) See you all then
  15. I thought it would be 1 oclock? Or am I being thick? Are you getting there around 930am? That would suit me too
  16. Hi Fuschia! I will go to one oclock club at crystal palace. That's a great idea thanks. How many do you have? I will look out for you. xMel
  17. Hi everyone, With half term of course most of the groups are not running. Does anyone know if anything is running in East Dulwich and surrounds? x Mel
  18. Hi Fuschia! Which One O'clock club? The one at Peckham is closed. Do you mean the Crystal Palace? I haven't been to that one yet... x Mel
  19. HI there, I'm looking for a baby group on Thursday after lunch. My 1 year old has a nap most of the morning, so morning sessions are out. Do anyone have any suggestions? xMel
  20. Hi there I have a 1 year old, and now the weather is getting warmer and he is fast growing out of his sleeping bag, I'm wondering how to best introduce the blanket? My concern is that he will invariably kick off the blanket, and then he might get cold during the night... What does everyone do? I realise my baby can't be in a sleeping bag forever... Mel
  21. Hi there, I'm interested in which pubs in ED are showing the Royal Wedding. I can see in this thread that the Clockhouse is showing - but what about the Rye Pub? I've been trying to phone them all day, no answer! Does anyone know?

I always find that funny. Hi Edmummy - I'm Australian as well with a baby boy who has both passports :-) My friend in Brisbane, named her girl Sidney - so just spelled differently to the city. And I thought that was quite cute! My personal favourite girl's name is Maddison Grace. My surname is Kelly, but I would still consider naming my girl Grace Kelly. Think I can pull it off? lol
  23. Indiana Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Just heard a friends sister called her baby Honor > which I think is unusual and pretty - good luck! Honor is the name of Jessica Alba's (actress) little girl! I agree, it's gorgeous
  24. I'm going to Peckham Pulse this Thursday, 1pm is Jelly Babies I've been told. The pool is a hydrotherapy one, and warm as a bath. I don't know where Deptford is? I don't have a car, so I'm restricted how far I can go. If you live in ED, the Peckham Pulse is quite good.
  25. I know alot of groups are closed due to holidays this week, and then Easter break will disrupt. I know the Monday morning Goose green was cancelled this week, and will not be running the next few Mondays... You can try the swimming pools. I've met Mums through Peckham Pulse hypdrotherapy pool. If you phone them, there are extra classes for babies this week!
